Publico Deli at the InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay opens - All-day Breakfast and Italian-inspired Cuisine
The InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay is one of the most awaited hotels to open in Singapore this year. Following the property's opening on 12 October 2017, Publico Deli (a component of the entire Publico concept) is now open to the neighbourhood to bring fresh Italian produce and friendly service to the public. Publico will consist of the Public Deli (which is now open), a restaurant as well as a bar.

Public Deli is designed to resonate the vibrancy of an Italian trattoria - the interiors are inspired by bold, graphic designs of mid-century Italian artists with furniture and finishing that feature warm wooden tones as well as natural stones. The result is a stylish yet unpolished space, with floor to ceiling glass doors that create a bright ambience, and a bold neon PUBLICO DELI sign which faces the 1 Nanson Road drop off point is hard to miss.
The Publico Deli will feature an all-day breakfast menu as well as contemporary Italian treats like crunchy biscotti and freshly baked pastries. The public will be able to enjoy artisanal coffee (beans from Liberty Coffee) and select from an extensive menu of all-day breakfast items as well as lunch items like the Tostada Catalana (grated fresh tomato & cured Pata Negra on sourdough), Mediterranean Scramble (scrambled egg whites, Mediterranean-spiced yoghurt marinated chicken breast) and a speciality PUBLICO Burger. A selection of fresh, wholesome salads and paninis will also be available throughout the day.
All menu options are prepared daily by Executive Chef Marco Turrati. Having refined his expertise in culinary institutions across Italy, and with work experience at some of the top hotels and restaurants in Europe, Marco will bring an authentic taste of Italy to the new Deli. After dark, Publico Deli undergoes a miraculous day-to-night metamorphosis into a Dessert Café alongside a playful Italian bar, Marcello. The clever design transformation by leading design studio, AvroKO, allows the venue to seamlessly transition from a casual light-filled deli to a sophisticated night-time destination.
The Dessert Café will serve an array of indulgent Italian & European sweet treats such as the house special Tiramisu pots, Profiteroles, ‘Oreoginal Sin’ Oreo Milkshake and a variety of revolving Tortas and Crostatas. Neighbourhood bar, Marcello, headed by renowned Italian bartender Cristiano Beretta, will house the region’s largest collection of Italian Amari and serve craft cocktails, such as the Milano Fizz and Amalfi Sour, many of which were inspired by 1930’s Italy. Publico Deli is open daily from 6.30am to 12.00am. Marcello is open from 5pm – 12am on Sunday to Wednesday and from 5pm – 1am on Thursday to Saturday.
There is a new Hyatt Place opening in Bangkok - Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit 1 (not to be confused with the Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit near Phrom Phong) - and it has already started to accept stay reservations from 13 January 2025.
