Book Hotels and Rent Cars on SingaporeAir.com for Miles?

As I was researching on some flight prices this evening, I noticed something a little different on SingaporeAir.com - apparently you are now able to earn KrisFlyer miles by booking hotels or renting cars on the website itself. In case you do not already know this, you can easily earn 10 miles per dollar when you book hotels via Kaligo.com (the prices are a little higher sometimes but if you factor in the value of miles you get, it is actually quite decent).

Apparently this is a new partnership between Singapore Airlines and Agoda which automatically implies that you will not be earning any elite-qualifying nights or points from these stays. While the Agoda Max program is not necessarily a brand new one, the integration with Singapore Airlines seems to imply a long lasting one.

For some reason, I can't seem the see the number of miles I would earn from each potential stay which is pretty bothersome so if you have luck with that, please leave a message or let me know! It would be interesting to see how Agoda (which generally has better or similar rates to Kaligo.com) matches up to the competition for more miles.
