Pop The Balloon on Chope (2-4 December 2019) for a Chance to win Free Hotel Stays and Discount Codes
There has been a number of changes to the way Chope-Dollars (which you can earn for simply attending restaurant reservations made on Chope can be redeemed for KrisFlyer Miles as well as ChopeDeals Discount Codes (which now require a minimum spend). In view of these changes, Chope has announced a once-off extension to the expiry dates of Chope-Dollars earned in 2018 a couple of days ago. From 2-4 December 2019, you will also be able to use your Chope-Dollars to Pop The Balloon and win attractive prizes like free hotel stays and discount codes.

For three days only, Chope users will be able to redeem 25 Chope-Dollars for a chance to Pop The Balloon. Since you can redeem 1,000 Chope-Dollars for a S$30 ChopeDeals Discount Code (which requires a minimum spend of S$45), 25 Chope-Dollars are effectively worth S$0.75 and that is technically the 'cost' of trying to Pop The Balloon Once. According to Chope, top prizes include hotel stays (2D1N with breakfast for 2) in Singapore:
PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road (Superior Room)
Park Hotel Clarke Quay (Club Room)
Park Hotel Alexandra (Deluxe Room)
You will also be able to pick up ChopeDeals Discount Codes (S$3, S$5 and S$10) with the game but there is no mention of any bonus Chope-Dollars (which used to be a common prize in these games) this time around which is odd. You used to be able to accrue plenty of Chope-Dollars by using a promo code (which you can get from these games) but it seems likely that Chope has decided to discontinue them for now. While Chope is definitely my go-to app for restaurant reservations, sometimes booking them on Quandoo makes a lot of sense since you can get up to S$9 cashback (during promo windows) with each fulfilled reservation.
Enjoy an exclusive 30% discount on all SLH stays in 2025 when you book before 5 January 2025 - minimum stay of two consecutive nights required.
