Foodpanda unveils Monthly Subscription Programme (Panda Pro) for Select Users
There are plenty of food delivery apps in Singapore but foodpanda typically offers me the most bang for the buck. When ordering dinner this evening, I noticed that foodpanda has launched a monthly subscription programme (invite-only beta version for now), panda pro, which gives you a number of free deliveries each month, depending on which one you go for.

This is not a sponsored article and I am writing this out of pure interest and passion (for food!) - apparently my account has been targeted with panda pro (probably due to me being a frequent user of the platform) and these are the options that you can consider (if you have received an invite too):
Light Eater (S$3.99 per Month): 5 Free Deliveries
Food Lover (S$7.99 per Month): 15 Free Deliveries
Ultimate Foodie (S$9.99 per Month): 50 Free Deliveries, Exclusive Discounts and Priority Delivery
Now, you will find merchants on foodpanda that offer free delivery if a minimum order amount is met. With panda pro, you will get to enjoy a number of free deliveries each month and the price of subscription starts from just S$3.99, which is extremely reasonable. Depending on how frequently you use food delivery apps, the different panda pro tiers will offer you free delivery at the following rates:
Light Eater: S$0.80 per Delivery
Food Lover: S$0.53 per Delivery
Ultimate Foodie: S$0.20 per Delivery
It goes without saying that the most expensive plan gives you the most bang for your buck but let's be honest, it is really difficult to hit 50 food deliveries each month - you will have to order twice per day on average! My opinion is that foodpanda probably thinks that no one will be enthusiastic enough to make 50 orders each month (remember, there is a fair use policy here so this membership is supposed to be for you only). What the Ultimate Foodie (S$9.99 per month) plan includes however is Exclusive Discounts (possibly on select merchants each month) and priority delivery which can be quite useful if you do not like to sit around waiting for food (or prefer to eat it hot!).
As a quick reminder, foodpanda is one of the participating merchants on ShopBack so you should always visit the latter site before making your order to earn some additional cash back. There are plenty of ways to save money when ordering food or eating out in Singapore so make sure you keep that at the back of your head. At the time of writing, I am using my GrabPay Card to pay for all my orders on foodpanda to earn 4 miles per dollar and 10X GrabRewards Points - do note that the earn rate on your GrabPay Card will drop on 02 March 2020.
Probably the best sign-up offer for Citi Credit Cards - get S$400 cash reward with minimum spend of S$500 within 30 days for new customers.
