Get up to S$240 AmEx Statement Credit on Hyatt, Hilton, Pan Pacific and Millennium Hotel Spend - Includes Staycations, Spa and Dining (Register Now!)
American Express members can now enjoy up to S$240 worth of statement credit per card on eligible spend made across Hyatt, Hilton, Pan Pacific Hotels Group, and Millennium Hotels & Resorts - simply spend at least S$300 by 11 July 2021 on a saved card, to get S$60 statement credit across each brand. Enrolment caps do vary for each hotel brand, so do save the offer to your card(s) as quickly as possible as this is one of the most best deals around (so I would expect it to be very popular).

American Express runs really amazing statement credit offers throughout the year and this is really one of the greatest benefits of holding an American Express-issued credit (or charge) card. These statement credit offers do not apply to American Express cards that are issued by banks and financial institutions. With the exception of Millennium Hotels & Resorts (where online payment is eligible), all spend must be made on the property at the front desk, or at a participating restaurant, bar, or spa within the property to be considered eligible. If you have a reservation that requires online prepayment, it will probably not work (even though you should be able to contact the property separately to arrange for prepayment on the property).
As mentioned earlier, you will have to save this offer to your American Express-issued cards - your qualifying spending of at least S$300 must post before the end of 11 July 2021, in order for you to receive the S$60 statement credit. Do note that the following enrolment caps apply for each one of the offers so make sure you save the offer to your targeted cards now before it is too late:
Hilton - Spend S$300, Get S$60 Statement Credit (First 6,000 Successfully Registered Cards)
Hyatt - Spend S$300, Get S$60 Statement Credit (First 12,000 Successfully Registered Cards)
Pan Pacific Hotels Group - Spend S$300, Get S$60 Statement Credit (First 10,000 Successfully Registered Cards)
Millennium Hotels & Resorts - Spend S$300, Get S$60 Statement Credit (First 20,000 Successfully Registered Cards)
Stacking Luxury Hotel Advisor Rates with Statement Credits
While it is typically cheaper to book an advance purchase rate (that generally requires online prepayment) as compared to a flexible rate (where you pay at the front desk upon checking-out of the property), you may choose to book a Luxury Travel Advisor rate to enjoy additional perks like up to USD 100 worth of property credit and complimentary breakfast. HoteLux (paid membership) is a great platform for you to gain access to these exclusive rates and you will be able to enjoy up to USD 100 worth of property credit with each stay (even on one-night stays!).
Obviously, if you have The Platinum Card from American Express, the Fine Hotels & Resorts (FHR) rate is something to take advantage of since you will get USD 100 property credit and a guaranteed late check-out of 4:00 PM on every single stay. In view of the current travel situation, hotel rates are at an all-time low in Singapore - the Conrad Centennial Singapore is going for just S$280++ (S$329.56 nett) per night on most weekdays and you will be able to trigger the S$60 statement credit with just one stay.
You can effectively stay at the Conrad Centennial Singapore from just S$269.56 nett (after adjusting for the S$60 statement credit) with the following inclusions with The Platinum Card from American Express:
USD 100 Property Credit
Complimentary Breakfast for Two Adults
Guaranteed 4:00 PM Late Check-out
Space-available Upgrade
Stacking FHR 3rd Night Free Offer with The Platinum Card
Now you might not already know this but the Conrad Centennial Singapore is also running a third night free offer for American Express Centurion and Platinum members right now - simply book a minimum of three nights from now until 26 September 2021 and stay by 30 September 2021 to receive your third night free.
A quick search on the American Express Travel website reveals rates as low as S$635.58 nett for a three-night stay at the Conrad Centennial Singapore - you can easily trigger at least S$60 statement credit on The Platinum Card with this stay and you will also get to enjoy all the aforementioned FHR benefits (e.g. USD 100 property credit).
Stacking Love Dining (up to 50%) or Chillax Discounts with Statement Credits
If you do not have The Platinum Card but you hold an American Express Platinum Credit Card, you will also be able to double (or triple) dip on promotions by using your credit card at participating Love Dining or Chillax partners. I will not go into it too much but taking the Conrad Centennial Singapore as an example, you will be able to enjoy up to 50% off dining and trigger an additional S$60 statement credit as well - saving you up to 60% off!
I really do appreciate what American Express is doing during unprecedented times like these - just this year alone, Platinum Members have already received a S$300 statement credit for spend across everyday essential merchants, a brand new Platinum at Basque Kitchen (where members can enjoy complimentary Champagne with each visit) has been unveiled, and these staycation and dining offers are truly attractive in allowing consumers to leverage on existing promotions.
