The American Express CapitaCard Product Refresh - Earn up to 3% Rebate Across Participating Merchants in CapitaLand Malls from 01 July 2021

The American Express CapitaCard will be receiving its first product refresh since its launch in 2016 - starting from 01 July 2021, CapitaCard Members will be able to earn up to 3% rebate (awarded in 6X STAR$) when they spend at participating merchants in CapitaLand Malls, Members will also continue to enjoy 3-hour complimentary parking per mall, per day across participating CapitaLand Malls when they spend at least S$1,200 in a calendar month.

American Express will be refreshing the benefits of The American Express CapitaCard to better suit the changing needs and lifestyles of Card Members. Currently, CapitaCard Members earn up to 1.5% rebate across all participating merchants in CapitaLand Malls on a regular basis but starting from 01 July 2021, Card Members will be able to earn up to 3% rebate (capped at S$1,200 of eligible spending per calendar month) across participating merchants in CapitaLand Malls:

• CapitaLand Malls in Town: 3% Rebate (30STAR$® per S$1)

• CapitaLand Malls in the Heartlands: 2% Rebate (20STAR$® per S$1)

For the sake of clarification, CapitaLand Malls in town refer to Bugis Junction, Bugis+, Clarke Quay, Funan, Plaza Singapura, and Raffles City. CapitaLand Malls in the heartlands refer to Bedok Mall, Bukit Panjang Plaza, IMM Mall, JCube, Junction 8, Lot One, Singpost Centre, Tampines Mall, and Westgate.

Eligible new customers who apply for The American Express CapitaCard can receive up to 192,000 STAR$® (worth S$192 eCapitaVouchers) when they spend S$2,400 in the first 2 months of Card Membership at participating CapitaLand Malls merchants. Card Members can continue to receive complimentary parking at participating CapitaLand Malls when they spend at least S$1,200 on eligible purchases of goods and services per calendar month. Those who spend at least S$1,800 in eligible purchases each calendar month will enjoy access to Privileged Parking lots at participating CapitaLand Malls.
