If you are thinking about using your Hyatt Gold Passport Points (assuming you now have 77,000 points in your account) for free nights at Hyatt hotels, you will be given the option of an outright redemption (refer to POINTS column) or a POINTS + CASH redemption where you will use a mixture of well, points and cash. If you refer to the chart above, redeeming Points + Cash on Category 6 hotels will be the most economical in terms of absolute comparison - please note that is obviously subjected to the actual prices at the property.
Paying 12,500 Points + USD 150 per night at any one of these Category 6 hotels might be decent value. If you did take advantage of the 40% bonus points promotion, 12,500 Hyatt Gold Passport Points would have costed you approximately USD 214 - therefore you are getting a night here for around USD 364 per night after including the cash component. Since the Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa generally costs at least twice of that, redeeming them at such properties can be extremely economical.
