Visa Infinite Introduces Infinite Night (4th Night Free) Benefit Via Inspired Lifestyles for Cardholders
All eligible Visa Infinite members can now enjoy one free night with every three paid nights. Unlike the 4th night free benefit that comes with the Citi Prestige, this Infinite Night benefit can be repeated during a stay and all (including supplementary) cardholders will be able to enjoy this benefit starting from right now - but there is a catch.

While the benefit sounds great on paper, it does actually have a number of serious limitations. Availability of property via the Infinite Night program is limited - looking at a random 4-night period in November, the website shows only four hotels in the 5-star hotel rating category while Expedia on the other hand shows over 50 different properties for the same dates.
To compare the prices, I have selected The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore via the Inspired Lifestyles website (which offers the Infinite Night benefit) and Expedia. The Deluxe Twin (with Breakfast) rate via Inspired Lifestyles is USD 1,096.06 (SGD 1,513.99) while Expedia is charging SGD 1,683.12 so the Infinite Night program is actually 10% cheaper. Room rates booked under the Infinite Night benefit may be non-refundable as well so the only incentive is the potential of saving 10%. However, you should obviously know that foreign currency transactions charged on all credit cards in Singapore attract a fee (Aaron from The Milelion has a great summary on this) which ranges from 2.75% to 3.5%.
Additionally, it is worth noting that if you do decide to book the hotel on Expedia, you will get to earn Expedia Rewards Points and more importantly, you can potentially get a significant chunk of that money back via ShopBack and there is also the opportunity to use some of the 10% credit card discounts on Expedia so you might be better off booking on a traditional OTA instead.

TRIBE Living Bangkok Sukhumvit 39 is a great value choice for budget-conscious travelers but its slightly longer walk from Phrom Phong BTS Station may make it less convenient compared to more accessible (but pricier) options in the area.
