From now until 16 February 11:59 PM (PST), Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members will be able to purchase miles and get up to 40% bonus. Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan typically run these promotions throughout the year and the highest I have seen is actually a 50% bonus so if you do not need these miles urgently, I would recommend that you wait for a better offer.

If you are based in Singapore, you may consider using the purchased Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles for redemption flights on Japan Airlines and Singapore Airlines. While you used to be able to extract more value from using these miles previously, it is still a great deal (although no longer fantastic) and I would still recommend getting them if you have a plan for it. Using the OCBC 90°N Card for this promotion will give you 4 miles per dollar on purchases with no cap and no limit so that is the card I would recommend you spend on if you wish to clock up additional miles with this expense.
