Chope Extends Validity of Chope-Dollars but No News on Extension of Membership Tiers
As part of Phase 2 of Singapore's reopening, dining out in restaurants is an option once again and it goes without saying that you can once again utilise Chope to make those restaurant reservations (highly recommended due to space constraints from safe-distancing measures). Since the redemption of Chope-Dollars has been suspended until 03 November 2020, Chope will be extending the validity of Chope-Dollars if they are expiring on and after 30 June 2020.

An EDM was sent out to communicate this but the wording was awkward and unnecessarily complicated (there was also a mistake in the initial email) but essentially Chope-Dollars that are expiring on and after 30 June 2020 will be extended by up to 6 months - do check your Chope-Dollars balance to get the exact extended expiry date.
Chope will be providing further updates regarding when you can start redeeming ChopePerks with your Chope-Dollars again (hopefully before 03 November 2020) but I am personally interested to see if they would extend the validity of membership tiers since members have lost almost three months this year to clock the number of required reservations for higher tiers.
