This bonus earn rate offer will be available for Card Members of the American Express Singapore Airlines Credit Cards, American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card, and American Express CapitaCard. Once the American Express offer has been saved to the card, you will be able to enjoy bonus miles, STAR$, and/or HighFlyer points when you spend at participating cafes, supermarkets, fast-food restaurants, and more importantly, hawker centers in Singapore that accept Amex Pay.

If you hold an American Express Singapore Airlines Credit Card, you will earn an additional 2 KrisFlyer Miles per dollar (capped at 400 bonus KrisFlyer Miles) on top of the base earn rate. I personally hold the American Express Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Ascend Credit Card and it is quite a decent general spend credit card - this card will allow me to earn 3.2 KrisFlyer miles per dollar on the first S$200 that I spend across the aforementioned participating brands and outlets.

Now 3.2 miles per dollar is not a bad earn rate at all but do remember that it is fairly easy to unlock an earn rate of 4 miles per dollar across most of these partners when you use the HSBC Revolution Credit Card or the UOB Preferred Platinum Visa Card just to name a few. In my opinion, the best way to use this offer is to simply use Amex Pay at participating hawkers since this is the only way to earn more than 3 miles per dollar on such spending.
