The OCBC 365 Credit Card is an everyday cashback card that allows you to get the most out of your everyday spending. While the card typically awards a base cashback rate of 0.3% on everything, cardholders will be able to enjoy up to 6% cashback on selected categories of spend when they spend at least S$800 in a calendar month:
Online Food Deliveries or Dining* - 6%
Petrol - 5%
Groceries, Utilities, Land Transport, and Online Travel - 3%
Others - 0.3%
* Note: Dining-out in Singapore is currently prohibited due to Phase 2 (Heightened Alert).
The total cashback that a cardmember (including all supplementary cardholders, if applicable) can earn in a calendar month is S$80. To make the most out of the OCBC 365 Credit Card, you should use it on categories of spend where you will earn the most cashback for (e.g. online food delivery or when dining out is allowed again) - do remember that a minimum spend of S$800 on the card (regardless of spend categories) is required, in order to trigger the respective bonus cashback amounts.
For a limited time only, eligible new OCBC card customers will be able to earn up to S$490 cashback over two months when they use the OCBC 365 Credit Card for recurring insurance premium payments and eligible food expenses - more information in the respective sections below!

---|---|
S$500 to S$999.99 | S$80 |
At least S$1,000 | S$120 |
Upon successful registration, you must set a recurring payment of a minimum of S$500 (for S$80 cashback) or S$1,000 (for S$120 cashback) on insurance for at least 2 consecutive months before 31 July 2021 on your OCBC 365 Credit Card. Get S$250 + S$120 Cashback for New Customers
If you do not currently hold an OCBC Credit Card as a principal cardholder and have not held one in the last 12 months, you will be eligible for a bonus cashback pay-out of up to S$250 when you are amongst the first 800 customers to apply and get approved for the OCBC 365 Credit Card by 31 Jul 2021. Do note that a minimum spend of S$1,000 per month is required for the first two consecutive months after card approval. While the bonus of S$250 cashback is already an impressive deal since it offers a 12.5% cash rebate, this is accorded on top of what the OCBC 365 Credit Card awards.
Spend Amount (Eligible Dining Transactions) |
Cashback Awarded | New Customer Bonus | Total Cashback (New Customer) |
|
---|---|---|---|---|
First Month | S$1,000 | S$60 | S$125 | S$185 |
Second Month | S$1,000 | S$60 | S$125 | S$185 |
To fully maximise this deal, you should spend the S$1,000 each month on online food delivery or dining, if you can - the spend amount will trigger the 6% bonus cashback (since it is above the minimum spend requirement of S$800), and it will earn you S$60 cashback each month, giving you a total of S$120 cashback over two months.
Getting S$370 bonus cashback from spending S$2,000 is effectively an 18.5% cashback and this is definitely a golden opportunity that you do not want to miss.
A Rare Opportunity to Earn S$490 Cashback Over Two Months
If you are an eligible new-to-card OCBC customer, applying for the OCBC 365 Credit Card now can earn you up to S$490 cashback over two months:
● S$120 bonus cashback from recurring insurance premium payments;
● S$250 bonus cashback for eligible new customers who spend S$1,000 per month for two consecutive months after card approval; and
● S$120 bonus cashback from spending the S$1,000 each month on online food deliveries or dining (6% cashback)
As mentioned earlier, insurance premium payments are generally excluded from most credit card rewards, and therefore, it is almost impossible to earn points or cashback from these transactions on a normal day. Being able to get up to S$120 cashback from just two months of recurring premium payments is a rare opportunity that should not be passed up lightly.
