Before you get overly excited, do note that The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card is a business credit card, and therefore, you will have to either run your own business (with a valid UEN) in Singapore or be a person with executive authority of a company or a business. With that being said, the growth of side hustles and the gig economy could very well make you an eligible applicant without you realising it - all you need is a valid UEN! I have previously written an in-depth review of The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card but I will summarise the key benefits of this card below.
S$100 CapitaLand Voucher
Apply for The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card between 24 January to 28 February 2022, and spend at least S$500 in the first month to receive an additional S$100 CapitaLand Voucher upon card approval - this is an affiliate exclusive which means you will not receive this through direct channels of application.
Annual Bonus HighFlyer Points with Singapore Airlines Group Spend
Cardholders of The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card can enjoy up to 15,000 bonus HighFlyer Points with eligible Singapore Airlines Group spend each year. In the first 12 months of card membership, 5,000 bonus HighFlyer Points will be awarded once you spend at least S$500 with the Singapore Airlines Group. Subsequently, 15,000 HighFlyer points will be awarded when you spend at least S$10,000 with Singapore Airlines Group each year.
S$300 Statement Credit with S$5,000 Spend (6% Cashback)
New applicants of The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card can enjoy a S$300 statement credit upon spending at least S$5,000 within 3 months of card approval. If you are unfamiliar with American Express offers, this statement credit is awarded on top of the HighFlyer Points which you will accrue with eligible spend.
To illustrate how American Express offers can stack, this is what a cardmember can get when he or she spends S$5,000 on eligible Singapore Airlines Group flights within 3 months of card approval:
Base Earn Rate: 9,000 HighFlyer Points (1.8 Points x S$5,000)
Additional HighFlyer Points (SIA Group Flights):33,500 HighFlyer Points (6.7 Points x S$5,000)
Bonus HighFlyer Points (SIA Spend Bonus): 5,000 HighFlyer Points
Welcome Bonus: S$300 Statement Credit
By simply spending S$5,000 on eligible Singapore Airlines Group flights, a new card member of The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card can receive up to 47,500 HighFlyer Points (which can be converted into KrisFlyer miles at a 1:1 ratio) and S$300 Statement Credit - this works out to 9.5 miles per dollar AND a 6% cashback which is a fantastic deal. This is definitely something to take note of if you are planning to take advantage of the Vaccinated Travel Lanes - 47,500 HighFlyer Points is more than enough to take you from Singapore to Korea in Business Class (one-way) on Saver. As mentioned earlier, you will also receive an additional S$100 CapitaLand Voucher if you apply for The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card using any one of the links in this article during the promotional period.
Accor Plus Explorer Membership with Complimentary Night (Worth S$408)
An Accor Plus Explorer membership typically goes for S$408 a year and it comes with a Stay Plus benefit which entitles you to a complimentary night each year at one of over 1,000 participating Accor hotels and resorts around the world. By simply holding The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card, you will get to enjoy the Accor Plus Explorer membership and enjoy a free night's stay every year. While the annual fee for The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card is waived in the first year, it will cost only S$299 in subsequent years and this is still significantly cheaper than the cost of an Accor Plus Explorer membership.

8.5 Miles per Dollar on Eligible Singapore Airlines Group Flights
Earn 8.5 HighFlyer points per dollar on eligible Singapore Airlines Group Flights with The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card - these HighFlyer points can be converted into KrisFlyer miles at a 1:1 ratio, but do note that each HighFlyer account can only be linked to a maximum of five KrisFlyer accounts for the purpose of converting HighFlyer points to KrisFlyer miles. Earning 8.5 miles per dollar on these flights (on top of what you would earn on the actual flight itself) is seriously lucrative as the next best alternative in Singapore is 4 miles per dollar.
1.8 Miles per Dollar on Everything Else (Inc. GrabPay Wallet Top-ups)
The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Cardis also a great general-spend credit card (find out how is this different from a dedicated-spend credit card) as it awards 1.8 HighFlyer points per dollar on all other eligible purchases. The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card even awards points on purchases and transactions that are typically excluded by other credit cards in the market - GrabPay Wallet top-ups, as well as certain insurance premiums (e.g. AIA/AXA Corporate insurance, CHUBB, UOB Insurance, AIG, and EQ personal insurance), are also eligible for points using The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card. By topping up an eligible mobile wallet, you can effectively double-dip in promotions to earn not only HighFlyer points but also other rewards (e.g. GrabRewards Points) as well.
Exclusive American Express Offers: Statement Credit Offers (e.g. Spend X, Get Y Back)
Unlike what most credit cards offer in the market, American Express offers are incredibly valuable as it typically awards you with a statement credit bonus upon meeting certain spending. While not all offers operate that way, The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card will unlock card-specific promotions that you will get to enjoy throughout the year.
First-year Fee Waiver
Even though The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card typically comes with a S$299 annual fee (which is justified simply by considering the price of an Accor Plus Explorer membership which you get as part of your benefits), the annual fee in the first year is currently waived - this means that you will be able to enjoy all the benefits that I have listed in this article for free! As mentioned earlier, you will also get to enjoy an extra S$100 CapitaLand Voucher upon meeting at least S$500 worth of spend on The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card within 30 days of card approval.
Planning a beach day can seem simple, but unexpected issues often arise. Mornington Peninsula’s beaches are popular, which means dealing with potential crowds, fluctuating weather, and poor preparation can easily ruin your outing. Arriving late might lead to parking challenges, and picking the wrong beach can limit your planned activities. Many forget important items that could make or break their beach experience, leading to stress and missed opportunities for relaxation.
