American Express Adds The House Bar and Bar Intermezzo to Chillax Programme - Enjoy Complimentary Drink with Any Eligible Purchase
The American Express Chillax program allows all eligible Platinum members (which include holders of the charge card or credit card variants) to enjoy a complimentary drink at any participating bars in Singapore each day with any eligible purchase. The list of members has been shortened quite drastically over the last couple of years but American Express has now announced two new entrants to the program which takes the total number of bars under the Chillax program up to nine at the time of writing.
The House Bar: Complimentary cocktail with any purchase
Platinum Members can now enjoy a complimentary cocktail with any purchase at The House Bar (which is located within Regent Singapore). According to the terms and conditions at the time of writing, members will be able to enjoy their free drink by picking from a selection of Highball, Signature, and Classic cocktails which are priced at S$25++ or S$26++ each.
Bar Intermezzo: 1-for-1 first drink
Simply pay with an eligible American Express Platinum Card to enjoy a 1-for-1 first drink at Bar Intermezzo (which is located on the ground floor of the Orchard Hotel Singapore). The offer is valid for any one of the following beverages and it is only applicable once per day per card member:
Draught Beers (Heineken and Tiger): from S$18++
House Pour Spirits (Gin, Vodka, Rum Tequila & Whisky): from S$17++
House Wines (Red Cabernet Sauvignon & White Sauvignon Blanc): from S$17++
House Bubbles (Prosecco and Moscato): from S$17++
Juices: from S$10++
Soft Drinks: from S$8++
Coffees & Teas: from S$6++
As a quick reminder, Chillax benefits are applicable to card members of the following cards issued in Singapore - officially, Platinum Cards that are issued outside of Singapore will not be eligible for this benefit but YMMV at each participating outlet:

TRIBE Living Bangkok Sukhumvit 39 is a great value choice for budget-conscious travelers but its slightly longer walk from Phrom Phong BTS Station may make it less convenient compared to more accessible (but pricier) options in the area.
