Shangri-La Circle Introduces Family Privileges for Redemption Stays - Similar to WOH Guest of Honor Benefit
Shangri-La Circle has been revamped and a new benefit has been introduced for Diamond members (which is essentially the highest tier you can achieve apart from Polaris which is subject to an invitation) - Diamond members can now nominate family members who will enjoy selected Diamond benefits when staying on a free night on points. If you are familiar with the Guest of Honor benefit in the World of Hyatt loyalty program, it works pretty much in the same fashion.

Shangri-La Circle Diamond members are able to enjoy some of the most generous benefits in the market which include each check-in and late check-out at 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM respectively when available. They can also elect to receive a bottle of red or white wine as part of their welcome amenity (amongst other items) if they wish to do so. While elected family members will not receive all of the Diamond benefits when staying on a redemption stay (made by the Diamond Member), they will enjoy the following benefits under the new family privilege benefit:
Early check-in / late check-out - 8am / 6pm
Daily breakfast served at Café Restaurant or Club Lounge
Enjoy access to Club Lounge with your stay partner and an additional guest
Guaranteed room availability for reservations made 48 hours prior to arrival
Room Upgrades in the Same Category
