One Week into LumiHealth (A Quick Review) - How I Earned Free Vouchers and How You Can Get a Free Apple Watch SE
Exactly one week ago, I wrote about the new LumiHealth app which allows Apple Watch users to earn coins (which can then be exchanged for HPB eVouchers) by simply staying active and keeping fit. If you do not have an Apple Watch, here’s a quick way to pick up the latest Apple Watch SE for free (by 30 November 2020). After using the LumiHealth app for exactly a week, I have managed to accumulate 1,950 Coins which are worth S$6.50 approximately.

Obviously, you’re not going to become the next millionaire by simply using the LumiHealth app, but getting a few vouchers (which you can then use at supermarkets or across other participating merchants) each week is a nice bonus - especially when it costs you absolutely nothing. As I have mentioned earlier, if you do not have an Apple Watch, you can get the latest Apple Watch SE (which retails for S$419) for free when you sign-up for a Citibank Credit Card as an eligible new customer - make sure you activate the card and make at least on qualifying transaction (no minimum spend required) when you receive it!
As a quick reminder, LumiHealth users can exchange 1,500 Coins for a S$5 HPB eVoucher so getting 1,950 Coins (worth approximately S$6.50) from just being on the app for a week is actually quite decent. My weekly Activity Challenge has been extremely easy and I just needed to close all three rings on my Apple Watch once a week to receive 8,000 bonus points - these points will help Lu (the main character in the LumiHealth app) move forward to the next stack of coins.
Moving forward, I would expect the challenges to get more difficult - closing three rings on my Apple Watch once a week is ridiculously easy - and it should also be tailored to my fitness and activity level (someone who works out daily should get tougher challenges as compared to someone that does not). I will continue to use the app on a regular basis and revisit this in a few weeks to see whether it is still a worthwhile investment of time. If you do workout quite a bit, make sure you download the LumiHealth app and sign-up for a free account to start earning coins and vouchers for free!
TRIBE Living Bangkok Sukhumvit 39 is a great value choice for budget-conscious travelers but its slightly longer walk from Phrom Phong BTS Station may make it less convenient compared to more accessible (but pricier) options in the area.
